Galeae

A politically motivated design. An oil on canvas equivalent of the protest song. The title alludes to a reference of the helmet shaped architectural structures that appear on the twin towers of  Bournemouth Oceanarium which could interpreted as as having a similar shape to some other anatomical items. The meaning of the painting is allegorically  depicted with the two figures in the background. The painting was originally conceived from an idea for the title 'Oi! Councillor, why can't I ride me bike on the Prom.' However, the title 'Galeae' has a certain ring to it with each  repeated phonetic utterance
