An allegorical painting which had it's Genesis of inspiration from a fascination with the creation stories of the ancient world. This scene represents the fantasy of Europa who has just relinquished command of a nuclear submarine and has despatched five landscape gardeners with her instructions to modify the remains of a bombed out city and recreate the Garden of Eden from the rubble and debris. |
