A member of the orchestra struggles with a double bass after having been silenced by a marble cherubim while a studious archaeologist bathing in the lights and shadows of his own darkness, returns to his catalogue of fine art in the midday sun while sitting on the steps of a ruined architectural structure of archaeological interest which is built upon the foundations and fantasy of his own mind and invention.
