I work from my studio in Poole in Dorset UK. It is on the south coast and has a beautiful harbour. I like to include local scenes in my paintings and make good use of photography and painted sketches of local scenes which help me to determine the colour of the scenery when I am painting in the studio. I prefer to work from life as it helps me to produce more accurate pictures. Photographs are a great help as it is not always convenient to paint form life.
